What is the Disaster Communications
Service? |

The Los Angeles County Disaster Communications
Service (D.C.S.) is a volunteer organization administered
by the Sheriff's Department Emergency Operations Bureau
for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. The core
mission of D.C.S., authorized under County Ordinance established
in 1951, is to provide volunteer disaster relief communication
for the citizens of Los Angeles County. |
